A member asked:

Can serouquel 50mg increase prolactin heavily?im 26 male and started training again thats why the question.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Any neuroleptic: can potentially increase prolactin and seroquel (quetiapine) is no different in this respect. Having routine prolactin levels followed can prevent problems, however, the med would need to be discontinued or the dose is decreased in a timely manner if the prolactin level is too high. It's a matter of close followup with laboratory studies with your prescriber.
