A member asked:

My college daughter was diagnosed with mono. she has no symptoms but enlarged lymph nodes . her cbc are ok,but platelets are low.idk .2nd opinion?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mononucleosis: It would be unusual to have mono with no symptoms except for enlarged lymph nodes. A monospot test with antibody titer would usually be done to confirm. Here's some good info: https://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000591.htm For review of the lab results and further recommendations, you could certainly request a consult and upload scanned or photographed labs.
