It can be...: Aspirin certainly can be helpful for arthritis pain. Depending on the severity of the pain and whether it is contant or intermittent pain you may need something more regularly. Aspirin is not known to induce cardiovascular disease, indeed it can be preventative (though generally only recommended for prevention of a second heart attack, not a first). You might try Glucosamine and Cod LIver Oil.
