It depends: A "wart-like" lesion on the ear of someone older than 60 years old can be various things. (1) It can be an actual wart, (2) a benign skin growth such as a seborrheic keratosis, (3) a precancerous growth such as an actinic keratosis, or (4) an actual skin cancer such as squamous cell carcinoma. I recommend having it looked at by a dermatologist to determine if it's benign or malignant.
