Heavy bleeding: I would need to know the first day of your last period and if there were any chance of pregnancy. You should do a home pregnancy test, and if it is positive, you should be seen by an OB/GYN doctor in the next 12-24 hours. If negative, I would recommend that you make an appointment within the week to be seen. Heavy bleeding like this can cause anemia and it is easy to treat and prevent.

Yes: If you are sexually active,get a pregnancy test and make sure you are not having a miscarriage. if not you should still get this evaluated as significant bleeding such as this may affect your health and you want the underlying problem addressed
