Bitting lip: the discoloration on lower lip inside could be from biting your lips and hematoma. If you have an appointment in 2 days no problem. It also has to be evaluated for pathology once the biting of lip is ruled out.

Strange spot: To you it looks strange. To your well trained and experienced Dentist it's probably one of many lesions he/she's trained to recognize and treat. Be sure to keep your appointment.

Suspicious Lesion?: Any white suspicious lesion on the tongue that does not resolve itself in 2-3 weeks, should be evaluated. See your doctor for eval.
