BV? STD? Other?: Unfortunately recurrent BV is common. However, BV may not be the only problem here. BV discharge usually isn't colored, and the usual treatments (metronidazole, or maybe clindamycin) should have at least improved symptoms. BV is sometimes a sign of another STD, like gonorrhea or chlamydia, which don't respond to these antibiotics. Return to your doctor for further evaluation. Good luck!
