Uncertain - inflamma: This could be inflammation but the hot water increases the blood flow and increases the bloodless which appear red. This may be part of the reason but there is itching also need to consider some other diagnoses. People can even itch with water, or it could be a reaction to your soap. Itching can suggest a more systemic medical problem so you need to discuss this with your physician
