I have white lines on both, right and left sides of my tongue that start in a line but end in a bump. i also have tiny red bumps closer to the tip.

See dentist. : It would be a good idea to see your dentist. There are many reasons for white patches on the sides of the tongue. It could be caused by chewing of tongue habit. It is common for those with sleep apnea and snoring to exhibit forms of this. However the lateral borders of the tongue are the most common location for oral cancer. Have your dentist examine and evaluate these sites to be sure.

Suspicious spots?: Regardless the cause... I would advise you to have the spots and lump in your mouth examined by a dentist or dental specialist (e.g. oral surgeon, OFP). Any suspicious bump that does not resolve itself in 2-3 weeks should be evaluated.
