A member asked:

For what length of time can a person survive on stimulators like caffeine without sleeping?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Survival: Generally, sleep deprivation in a human that can contribute to actual death is about 5-7 days. Although we don't know for sure by experimenting as this is not ethical. Generally the body will go into sleep without the person even knowing it, aka sleep attacks. Pretty dangerous because it can happen out of the blue, like during driving or walking.
