Rarely needed: In the US, I believe asbestos hasn't been used for insulation or other purposes for 30-40 years, by law in most (all?) states and perhaps federal law. Any house or HVAC system first built since that time probably has no asbestos. I'm sure your employer has information on this; if not, contact whatever agency is involved in building construction codes in your area.
