Depends...: If you have started the antibiotics already, you will have a blood level of the antibiotics for a certain amount of time, depending on the particular antibiotic. If you have not started the antibiotic yet, you could get sicker faster but how fast depends on many factors (ex. severity of pneumonia, symptoms, etc.). Get the antibiotic as soon as possible and go to ER if symptoms get worse. Good luck
