A member asked:

Swollen posterior cervical lymph node for 3 monthsthis week i developed 2 more on the right side of my neck and 1 on my right groin.blood ok.lymphoma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible: When cervical nodes are defined and they are firm and possibly malignant then primary should be defined, especially in the oral cavity. Should such nodes then increase in number and wind up in other node bearing sites such as groin, lymphoma should be suspect. Excisional bx is in order to make dx. Aspiration bx of no value due to lack of defining structural changes in node.
