Probably not serious: Anything that causes increased mucus in the nose -- common cold, sinusitis, allergy, etc -- sometimes is associated with bleeding. If it's not large in amount and only lasts a few days, usually it's nothing to worry about. See a doctor there is lots of red blood or if smaller amounts don't clear up in a few days, or if you otherwise remain concerned.
