A member asked:

Ive had a swollen posterior cervical lymph node for 3months.measures 1.2x1.0cm.have not been sick, bloodwork ok.is it lymphoma? should i get a biopsy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Perhaps: Although biopsy is the best method to determine if this swollen cervical lymph node is lymphoma. There are other symptoms regarding lymphoma such as weight loss, fever, fatigue, and sweats. It sounds like you have a physician who has ordered labs and they have come back negative. You could have a biopsy but I think this is something that you and your doctor need to decide together.
