Risks vs benefits: It is reasonable to treat symptomatic low testosterone when your testosterone level is less then 250. Testosterone replacement has significant risks including increased risk for clots, heart attack, prostate cancer, etc. Clomid (clomiphene) is a reasonable alternative, with less serious side effects, to raise testosterone levels.
