Clomid (clomiphene) v Androgel: Can you vs should you is big question. Why are you asking now after 7yrs? Did you have a complete evaluation at 42yo to explain why your Testosterone level was low. Did you discuss available potentially lifelong options eg Clomiphene vs Testosterone (in any of many forms) vs hCG vs Tamoxifen vs ? While you can switch, it's best you chat w/prescribing physician to determine what's best for you.
