My husband a tonsilectomy two weeks ago but he's still having spike of fever around 102.5 in the morning and in the end of the day.

Still infected: He should not still have a high fever two weeks out from his surgical procedure. He needs to be evaluated by his doctor to look for possible other causes of fever. When he has the elevated temperature he needs to get blood cultures to find the causative agent. He should have a complete blood count run as well.source of infection must be found and treated with antibiotics.
