Hi. pain in stomach and side with intermittent shortness of breath. on pantoprazole since this past friday. pain level vacillates.

You need an exam: It sounds as if you were being treated for a stomach ailment, but that shouldn't make you short of breath. You don't say if you are on any BCP's, but a blood clot or pneumonia or gall bladder disease could present this way. It wouldn't hurt to take an antacid with simethicone when the pain comes, but if this keeps up you do need to be seen again. Good luck!
