Sounds like it: However, in the past, I have followed out the BHcG to the negative range by doing weely blood draws; as long as the levels continue to decline. Good luck!

Possible miscarriage: A serum HCG of 52 is not compatible with a 6 week pregnancy. The fact that it continued to drop to 16 is even more worrisome of an impending miscarriage. A tubal pregnancy should also be considered.
