i took zicam rapidmelts for 3 days o shorten a cold as directed and am now experiencing loss of smell/taste. is this permanent? i've heard that it is.

Its an uncommon: but disturbing side effect of Zinc and it is even more uncommon for it to be permanent...HOWEVER do NOT use it again! Time will "tell" be patient! Hope this helps Z
