A member asked:

Which kind of antidepressant would work best for ocd (ssri, snri, ndri..)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ssri or tca for ocd: Generally ssri's are the Rx of choice for OCD. The so-called "gold standard" is a tricyclic antidepressant called clomipramine (brand 'Anafranil') which can also be used, though could have more side effects and involve a blood level. Best wishes!
