Need to see ENT: Please see your PCP or ENT. IT could be a cancer of the lymph nodes or any other cancer in the head and neck area. Or it could be an infection. One needs to do tests to determine. If you have h/o drinking and smoking then cancer is higher probability. Sometimes goiter- enlargement of thyroid can cause neck swelling. Please go to a physician immediately and rule out the dangerous causes first.
