Fluid or ascites: Ovarian cancer is notorious for making fluid in the belly by irritating the lining of the organs ( its like a cling wrap around the organs-known as peritoneum). As the cancer grows, there is more fluid which presses on the stomach and other organs and gives a feeling of bloating and early satiety.

It is complicated: Advanced ovarian cancer typically presents with abdominal distention, nausea, anorexia, or early satiety due to the presence of ascites (fluid within the abdomen) and omental or bowel metastases; dyspnea is occasionally present due to a pleural effusion. However, symptoms occur in many women even at early stages of the disease, likely a result of inflammation and hormonal changes.
