A member asked:

What could cause pain in the right shoulder, pain beneath the right ribs at the front of my body, and difficulty breathing?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Shoulder pain: Unsure of pain loco. 2 pains or one? Difficulty breathing is a reason to be examined by a doc and x-ray. Point of shoulder could be tendinitis. Medial to this is breast and lung. Occasional sharp lung pain with breathing, is from sticking of the lung lining called pleura and is transient not worth an exam unless persistent. A rarer rib problem can be seen in a plain X-ray.
