UTI? STD? Other?: UTIs are rare in young men without congenital urinary tract anomalies. An STD like chlamydia, gonorrhea or nongonococcal urethritis, but of course only if sexually active, and less likely without abnormal discharge. Soap or other irritant in the opening could cause pain on urination. Most of these don't cause low back pain but any could cause positive UTI test strip. For sure see a doctor ASAP.
