Swelling of the mouth and pain in the limbs?

Angioedema: Sounds like angioedema.......Or a viral infection that causes muscle aches or even a bacterial infection of the tonsils/pharynx. You need to see your primary care doctor to rule out infection and then determine the best course of treatment.

Limb pain unusual: Angioedema can cause swelling in the mouth and elsewhere. If the swelling involves the limbs, especially the joints, you will experience pain in the swollen areas. Without knowing the type of swelling in the mouth and whether there is also swelling of the limbs it is difficult to answer your question. If the swelling involves the tonsillar area without limb swelling a viral infection is likely.
