Eat smaller portions: After you eat the body shifts a large portion of the blood supply to your intestinal area for digestion. Eating a large meal or a meal heavy in carbohydrates increases the digestive demand. To be most efficient, the body asks you to rest so it can finish its' digestive job. Eat a smaller lunch and eat lighter like fruits, salads and a small beef patty, piece of chicken or fish.
