Sleep inertia: When you go into deep sleep (about 30-60 minutes), sometimes it takes a lot to get your body out of the deep sleep cycle and you feel lethargic or "hung over." the same happens if your sleep cycle is disrupted at night, it is just that usually we return to sleep and all continues on.
