No: Fever medications are not recommended unless he has been seen by your doctor. The most important thing is to use gentle saline and suction to keep his nose clear because babies prefer to breath through their nares. Keep his head elevated and make sure him room is not too hot or dry. If he does get a fever have him seen promptly. All the best. I hope he feels better soon.

NO: You should not treat 2 m old baby , must be seen by a pediatrician . They can get lung infections ( pneumonia ) react to medication will lead to serious complications . Speak to baby s pediatrician first .
