Arthritis and tear: The cartilage loss is similar to saying you have degenerative arthritis setting up in your knee. The meniscus is a cartilage cushion present in your knee, there is one present medically and one lateral, and you have a tear in one as well. I would go through your MRI with an orthopedic surgeon to discuss options.
