It may just mean: that you will have a shorter than normal period. Menstrual cycles fluctuate from time to time, for different reasons such as nutrition, psychological stress, infections, exercise, anemia, and other hormones (e.g. thyroid). You should just watch it and see if it will revert back to normal in a few days or weeks, sometimes months. If not, see a healthcare provider for proper exam and diagnosis.
