Im 35 weeks 4days today i am 1 cm, soft and short. lots of random contractions that make you stop. this is baby #4 2 out of the 3 have been preemies does this mean pack my bag and have it at the door or do i still have time?

Have your bag ready: If contractions get more regular do not dawdle. You could progress quickly. On the positive side the baby should be a good size and do well even if it came now.
