Hematoma is suspecte: I suspect this is a hematoma. This is bleeding into an rea of injury, the blood then clots and hardens. The injury could have injured adjacent nerves. In the first 36 hours of injury one uses ice and after 36 hours heat to help the heamtoma resolve. To clarify this it would helpful to see your physician.
