Yes: Taking Tums is safe for a pregnant woman at 23 weeks. It may be taken occasionally when you feel heartburn. If you stay within the recommended the Recommended Daily Intake of calcium for pregnant women, you will be in good shape - that comes to no more than 12 and a half tablets of Tums (calcium carbonate) a day, assuming your tablets are 500 mg each. (Confirm your strength.)
