For the past few days, my throat has been sore. when i swallow it hurts and feels as if something is stuck in it. is there anything to treat this?

Pharyngitis: See your doctor. Most likely infectious cause -- viral or strep. Alternative would be mono. Any fevers? Fatigue? Having someone look at it could narrow down the diagnosis and eliminate other serious possibilities such as retropharyngeal abscess, tonsilar abscess, branchial cleft cyst, thyroiditis....etc.
