Ginger for nausea: Ginger can be effective for nausea in pregnancy and is safe. You can use ground fresh ginger in tea or in food, and concentrated doses in capsules can be purchased as well. If you look for the capsules, make sure there's nothing else in them but ginger! Taking a food diary to note and avoid nausea-inducing foods can help. For headache, acetaminophen (Tylenol) is ok in pregnancy as directed.
