Dizziness: Does it feel like the world is spinning around you? If so, you have vertigo caused by the vestibular canals in your middle ear. Vertigo must be distinguished from other causes of dizziness because lightheadedness, weakness, falling, unsteadiness, and other conditions may be from central nervous system or cardiovascular causes.
