Avoidant personality: disorder needs to be properly diagnosed by a mental health professional. There are other possibilities in terms of diagnosis. After diagnosis, psychotherapy can be helpful to sort things out. Peace and good health.

If you have problems: that are interfering with your social functioning and work, or your symptoms are distressing to you, please seek an evaluation with a psychiatrist or a psychologist such that you can be diagnosed and treated for your problem. If the symptoms are not interfering in your life, are not distressing or not causing depression or problems, you can keep a close eye on them, but please do not hibernate.
