How to know what is avoidant personality disorder?

Anxious Socially: Apd is a persistent pattern of acute discomfort in social interaction that generalizes to most social situations. Research suggests that individuals with apd have more of a general embarrassment response in social situations as opposed to more fear during social situations with with specific social phobia (like speaking). However, apd and generalized social phobia are usually diagnosed together.
