Mosquito avoidance: Advise them on ways to limit mosquito exposure, and follow closely with ultrasound and maybe consider pregnancy termination if fetal microcephaly is found. (Obviously a personal decision with different legal implications in various countries.) Comprehensive, reliable information on Zika is available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: <a href="http://www.cdc.gov/zika/index.html/

Prevent and screen: If a pregnant woman has Zika-like symptoms, she can get tested, and her baby fetus checked by ultrasound. If a woman has no symptoms but an ultrasound shows a small head or calcium spots in the brain, she can then get tested. (Jan. 2016)
