3 years is safe: Zika lasts a few weeks to maybe 6 months. After that it should be safe to get pregnant, and almost certainly 3 years is safe. However, research is still in progress, and new knowledge could become available. If you have had Zika or think you might have been exposed, speak with your doctor before you attempt to conceive; and avoid conceiving until you're sure you want to be pregnant. Good luck!
