Take Precautions: Coastal areas like Tulum will have a higher likelihood of Zika Mosquitoes then higher elevations (>6500 feet above sea level). CDC recommends taking precautions while in Mexico to reduce exposure. I would recommend avoiding the jungle areas and wearing repellent at all times.
