No: Dilantin is a great medication for seizure and sometimes used for off label neuropathic pain. Etiology of multiple sclerosis remains unknown but all of the medication aims at suppressing immune system with exception of one. So perhaps that's what they meant , used to treat neuropathy in ms pt? There are all sorts of studies going on. It's truly an exciting field !!!
