You CAN'T!!!: An ms relapse is serious and needs to be treated asap. If not, permanent damage can result. Do not delay, accept the fact that this is a huge risk and see your neurologist tomorrow! also, discuss your current disease modifying drugs. You may require a more effective medicine.

Time: Assuming that you mean how can you deal with it without steroids or doctor visit. In the absence of medical intervention you will just need to wait and see how long it takes to get better. After a relapse, you may not return to your previous level of function; that is called progression of disability. But anyway, even steroids do not prevent that - they just shorten the relapse.

MS flare-up: I agree with dr parks. To add to her comments, keeping a journal of your exacerbation helps tremendously to track your ms. Note when you first noticed flare-up symptoms, what your symptoms are, how they progressed or worsened, and what activities they limit. Record this for your knowledge of disease progression, and your neurologist to know if your disease-modifying therapy is failing. Good luck!
