Bone growth, or mechanical: Could be a bone growth under rib. That is unusual. Mechanical function of the rib cage can cause a change in position of the ribs. Could be a long-standing problem that is now showing up involving A change in how the rib cage or spine is working. X-ray results should be helpful in diagnosing it.
