ANKLE EDEMA: Unlikely associated with Fibromyalgia(TENDER PAINFUL MUSCLES) You need to see your doctor have EXAM/LABS and X-ray of the ankle. If symptoms persist, an MRI is needed to evaluate ankle anatomy and rule out stress fracture.

Swollen ankle: and pain is not from fibro. Please see your doc for diagnosis and treatment. There are several possibilities. Peace and good health.

Get attention: The ankle issue has nothing to do with the fibromyalgia, and most likely is a consequence of trauma or local inflammation. See your doctor, get area X-rayed, perhaps get orthopedic consultation, but do not ignore.
