No fault of your own: It is believed that as many as 1 in 6 pregnancies ends prior to 12 weeks gestation. Often times, women are unaware they are pregnant early on. It is also believed that most of these early 1st trimester pregnancy losses are due to genetic abnormalities and not something you did.
