A member asked:

Past 2 yrs occasionally get vaginal bleeding post-intercourse, lasts ~2 days. gyno doesn't see anything wrong. what could it be & what do i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Trauma: Since your gyn examination was normal, most likely trauma during intercourse causes the vaginal bleeding. I suggest that you alter sexual positions or techniques during intercourse in order to lessen trauma to vaginal tissues. However if post coital vaginal bleeding continues to occur, have another careful pelvic examination with thorough inspection of the vagina and cervix.
