Very normal: a corpus luteal cyst is a little bubble left over in the ovary after ovulation. It's responsible for some of the hormonal changes that regulate the menstrual cycle, and shortly after forming it degenerates and disappears.

Pregnant or no?: When not pregnant, this is the normal end phase of the cyst that the egg came out of in the ovary. It degenerates and starts over for the next month. When pregnant, the corpus luteum stays around and makes progesterone to support the embryo until the placenta takes over. If it begins to degenerate too soon, the embryo can miscarry.
